Josepheen De Asis Cruz (CV) joined the HNL in April 2008. A neuroscience graduate student, Josepheen is interested in understanding the neural mechanisms of social cognition and valuation, particularly how these processes are impaired in disorders such as autism and ADHD. Prior to joining the lab, Josepheen obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and her Medical Degree from the University of the Philippines.
Misha Koshelev (CV) is a graduate student in the Interdepartmental Program in Cell and Molecular Biology. He joined the HNL in April 2009. Misha is interested in the application of Bayesian classifier (data-driven, probabilistic approaches) to data from social exchange games such as the trust game. Additionally, he is very interested in applications of mathematical and computer science ideas to biology in general and to cognitive neuroscience in particular. He hopes to be able to arrive at a classification methodology that clusters disordered and healthy players in the multi-round trust game. He graduated with an A.B. in Psychology from Harvard in 2003. He is currently a member of the Medical Scientist (MD/PhD) training program.
Ting Xiang (CV) is a graduate student in the Neuroscience department. She joined the HNL in March 2008. Ting is interested in understanding the neurological mechanism underlying subconscious perceptions and creativity, preference and bias in decision-making, and various psychiatric diseases. She also likes to use the theories and methods of chaos and dynamic systems to understand the brain. Ting received her B.S. in Biological Science from Wuhan University, China in 2005.
